My name is Marna Schindler, and I am grateful to have been
asked to paint so many beloved dogs and cats. I have always
been a big fan of animals, and to be able to paint them on a
daily basis is truly a privilege. With a degree in graphic design
from SDSU & about 20 years illustration experience,  I paint
full-time, creating original pet portraits as well as paintings for
art shows and galleries. I live & work in the East Village area of
San Diego, CA with my feline muses and assistants, Hopper &
Natasha. To see what else I've been up to, check out the page
"
a glimpse in the life". To find out about upcoming shows,
check out the page "
news & events".

I would be honored to paint your fabulous furry kid, to
celebrate him in a unique & whimsical way, and to create a
painting which will help you remember him always with a smile.
Getting started with your own special painting is simple, just
